The Murid Convention of North America, organized by the Foundation Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba (FONCAB), is a major annual gathering celebrating its 10th anniversary in April 2025. The event will take place at Zone Darou Rahman in Baltimore, MD, from the 18th to the 20th, bringing together over 1,000 participants. It serves as a platform for spiritual reflection, cultural exchange, and community engagement among followers of Muridism across North America. The convention features religious teachings, discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening faith and unity.

During the blessed month of Ramadan, FONCAB organizes special Qur’an recitation sessions to strengthen our faith and deepen our connection to the teachings of Islam.

The Murid community around the world celebrates Eid al-Fitr with deep spirituality and communal solidarity after the month of Ramadan. This sacred occasion marks the end of fasting and is observed with prayers, charity, and gatherings that reinforce the values of humility, gratitude, and brotherhood.
