Memorandum Of Understanding of HADIYATOURAHMA
By registering, you agree to the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding.
THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE POLICY, but a community support fund intended exclusively for citizens of Senegal, The Gambia, Mali, Mauritania, Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
Note: Use the correct program registration link for your membership payment.
➢ An $ 80 contribution for a $70 annual donation and a $10 membership fee (for a total of US $80 or CAN $80) are received from all members.
➢ Everyone 17 years or older in the household must make an annual donation of $80.
➢ The support coverage starts on August 15th, 2026, and ends on August 14th, 2027.
➢ The proposed support consists of the Foundation assuming the responsibility of shipping and paying for the cost of members’ remains to any of those countries above (or funeral expenses if burial is in the US or Canada).
➢ The Foundation will also give an additional $700 support following the shipment of the remains of the members.
➢ For expense management reasons, the member’s family must grant Hadiyatou Rahma full responsibility for the procedure. If a family does not comply, FONCAB’s decision regarding the cost will be exclusive and discretionary.
➢ Moreover, Hadiyatou Rahma’s responsibility for payment is limited to an equal shipping cost to DSS Airport in Senegal. Beyond DSS, the family’s responsibility will be the additional cost of shipment to the destination.
➢ If the remaining members is handled by a different program than Hadiyatu Rahma, the family will receive $3000 in financial assistance.
➢ The same $3,000 will be provided to the family when a member dies while in the country of origin.
➢ The proposed support will allow a fellowship donation of $700 to a member who’s immediate relative,
➢ (father, mother, husband, wife, son, or daughter) has passed away outside the USA and CA.
➢ Except if the deceased is a member of Hadiyatu Rahma and is already supported by FONCAB.
➢ The above-cited fellowship donation will be limited to a single disbursement per parent for all sibling members.
➢ The proposed support would consist of the Foundation assuming responsibility for the shipping cost of a member’s remains to one of the countries mentioned above if the member’s death happened outside North America.
➢ The proposed support will consist of the Foundation assuming the responsibility of shipping costs to any of the qualified countries above for a member’s father or mother who passed while visiting the member in North America.
➢ Any citizen of a country other than those mentioned above who has previously and uninterruptedly participated in Hadiyatu Rahma in the past shall maintain full membership and shall do so as long as there is no lapse.
➢ Any biological child under 17 will be automatically supported by their parents’ donation.
➢ The proposed support is exclusively for the shipment of qualified remains. All other expenses are excluded.
➢ A donor’s gift cannot constitute a membership donation; therefore, it cannot be assigned to a recipient for benefit.
➢ A non-Muslim’s spouse can participate to qualify for support, and FONCAB will exercise the same authority over their remains as it does over a Muslim’s; otherwise, FONCAB’s decision regarding the cost will be exclusive and discretionary.
➢ FONCAB is committed to fully transparently managing the treasury and disbursements of funds. All disbursed amount details will be provided twice a year and delivered to all the foundation’s community Leaders (JAWRIGNE) to share with their members.
➢ This coverage is currently only available for applicants residing in North America.
➢ Your emailed payment receipt is proof of your membership. By signing this form, the member fully agrees to the understanding of the terms and conditions of this FONCAB HADIYATOU RAHMA “memorandum of understanding” and its provisions, which are subject to change as needed by FONCAB executive board without prior notice.
May we all eagerly participate in the community support endeavor but never yearn for its need. Amine! I
