FONCAB HADIYATOURAHMA Memorandum of Understanding
This is not an insurance policy , but a community support system fund solely for citizens of Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Mauritania, Guinea, and Bissau Guinea

➢ A $80 contribution for a $70 annual donation and a $10 membership fee (for a total of US $80 or CAN $80) are received from all members and is opened to all Senegalese and the Muslims from other African immigrants living in USA and Canada.
➢ The $80 annual donation amount is required from each individual 17 years of age or older in the household.
➢ The support donation collection campaign starts on May 15th , 2024, and ends on August 14th , 2024. ➢ The support coverage will be from August 15th , 2024, to August 14th ,2025.
➢ The proposed support 2 consists of the Foundation assuming the responsibility of the shipment’s cost of member remains to their homeland or funeral expenses (if burial is in the US or Canada).
➢ The member’s family must give Hadiyatou Rahma full responsibility to manage the process and finalize the transport of the member’s remains. In the event a family does not give FONCAB full control of the remains shipment process (funeral service selection, expedited shipment to minimize the additional funeral home costs…) FONCAB will use its discretion to support the remains shipment or the burial.
➢ Additionally, Hadiyatou Rahma will be only responsible of the shipment of remains to DSS Airport in Senegal. Beyond DSS the cost of the shipment to the destination will be at the expense of the member’s family.
➢ In event a memberis also enrolled in another program, or is taken care of by any other entity other than Hadiyatou Rahma for shipment of the remains, then Hadiyatou Rahma will provide financial assistance of $3000.
➢ The same amount of $3,000 will be provided to the family, when a covered member passes away while in his or her country of origin.
The proposed support will allow the disbursement of a flat $500 stipend for a member who’s immediate relative, (father, mother, husband, wife, son, or daughter) has passed away in his/her country of origin except if the deceased is a member of Hadiyatou Rahma and already supported by FONCAB.
➢ The above cited stipend will be limited to a single disbursement per parent for all sibling members.
➢ The proposed support will consist of the Foundation assuming the responsibility of the shipment’s cost of the member’s remains to the country of origin if the member’s death happens during a trip overseas; outside ofNorth America.
➢ The proposed support will consist of the Foundation assuming the responsibility of the shipment’s cost to Senegal for a member’s father or mother who passed while visiting the member in North America.
➢ Any direct relatives under 17 years of age will be automatically supported by their parents’ donation. ➢ The proposed support will be exclusively limited to the shipment of member’s remains and no additional expenses.
➢ When a donor generously gives a membership’s donation, they do not have an option to select the recipient for the community support for remains’ shipment.
➢ For non-Muslim participants, FONCAB must be contacted prior to selecting a funeral home for cost approval, otherwise, the disbursement for burial cost will be estimated at the discretion of FONCAB.
➢ FONCAB is committed to managing the treasury and disbursements of the funds in a fully transparent way. All disbursed amount details reporting will be provided twice a year and will be delivered to all the Diawrignes of the Foundation to share with their local chapter.
➢ This coverage is currently only available for applicants residing in North America. ➢ Your emailed payment receipt is proof of your membership.
